Who is in charge on these forums?

The site is run by a number of dedicated, talented individuals, collectively known as the mods, the list of current moderators can be seen by clicking the view forum leaders button at the bottom of the forums, but here is the list of the current moderators and their various areas of responsibility:

Anomander Rake (1): is the forum and website owner, responsible for forum maintenance and running the website. He is not the most active member so isn't the person to go to if you want a quick response.

Hetan: is a site admin, and looks after the forum on a day to day basis, smiting evil doers and keeping the forum in order. She is also a proof-reader and keeps us up to date information from the publishers.

Folken: also known as Jenny, has had many incarnations but is the other site admin, grumpy and professes to be incredibly lazy, Folken maintains the website, smites evil doers and bans all those who cross him.

Anomander: another site admin, not particularly active but helps maintain the site.

Morgoth: is a moderator who moderates generally in the lower part of the forum, deleting posts which breach forum rules, keeping order whilst fighting the never ending tide of spam

Rodeo Ranch: a canadian and a stoic believer in a man's right to wear no pants, rodeo faces the unenviable challenge of keeping order in the phoenix inn which he manages with as much aplomb as a man with no pants can. Best person to go to for those in the north american time zone.

Menandore: a moderator, also known as godess aurora, keeps order and fights spam, not as active at present

Imperial Historian: yet another moderator, who moderates generally in the book forums, whilst also attempting on occassion to update the FAQ's and give access/ edit the communal wiki

Ex mods include caladanbrood, who can be blamed when anything goes wrong, always online brood can be contacted for friendly advice at all times to save the moderators work.
