Lame Speculation re: Hood and List's 'guide' being one and the same...

seems possible in terms of timing if the outer limit of List's estimate is considered.
Ascending has to do with suffering, the guide's eternal grief and the unique bond in this Jaghut family seem particularly tragic.
List's guide comes to Duiker as he is dying, tho he has activated QB's 'soul flask'
List died over and over in the mock engagements (lame, I know)
if true: List should occupy a place in High House Death? Mason? the new Herald?
